Charity Parachute Jump 26/09/2010

On a lovely sunny day at Netheravon Camp in Wiltshire, Richard took on one of his most daring challenges in a bid to raise more money for the Help for Heroes charity; a parachute jump!

Using the facilities of the Army Parachute Association, Richard was taken up to 3500 feet, started his jump only to find that his main chute would not open properly!! Fortunately the training he was given made him release that chute and he deployed his reserve chute, making it safely to the ground. His daring exploit has raised £774!! You can still help this cause and encourage Richard to challenge himself further.
