The quote we received for 4 men working all day was very reasonable against other quotes received. "There were many reason why I chose this company: To begin, Richard Smart was honest in the state of the tree. I knew it was a mess that needed the professionals in to get it sorted. Unlike others..Richard Smart did not suggest pulling up the entire tree... instead he pointed out what was wrong with the tree and what could be done to fix it. I think it was when he said something like "It's o.k. we have something that we can work with here", that I knew Smart Trees were the ones for the job. Other important selling point were that Mr Smart did not think or was at least professional enough not to show that I was being overly sentimental about a tree...Smart Trees were smart enough to arrange a convenient time to view the tree during day light hours. I liked the Smart Trees website and felt that with Smart Trees my tree would be in safe hands. I felt that the quote was very reasonable given the amount of work and compared to other quotes I had been given for the same job. Both men worked hard for 4 hours..I know how difficult it can be removing the felled Eucalyptus branches from the surrounding shrubs..but an excellent clearing up job was done. "The visit from a Smart Trees representative to give a quote left me in no doubt that I wasn't getting someone who had a chainsaw laying around, even though the quote was the same as a door-to-door cheap-as-chips guy with a unmarked dented white van who came knocking a few weeks earlier. Public liability insurance documents on the website gave additional peace of mind. This morning I had a number of problem trees, now I don't. No trees, no branches, no logs.... Just gone! He and 2 collegues came back to me a few hours later and made a wonderful job of my tree and also sawed logs for my neighbours fire and also kindly offered to take them up my VERY steep garden to him as he is 82yrs old.
