One Mile Tree Climb Event in Bristol 28/01/12

This was a Smart Trees team event in which all the lads took it in turn to scale a tree in Queens Square in Bristol and then climb down until they had covered a total vertical distance of one mile. As usual the event was to raise money for Help for Heroes!!

After setting up the tree climbing basic safety gear, the team take it in turns to scale the tree from the bottom to the top and then back down again. The strain on their muscles was more than would normally be experienced in their normal day to day work and after a valiant effort the team had to admit defeat. Even so with all the people who sponsored their attempt the team raised £440!! towards the cause. Well done to all the guys for a superb challenge.
